  This is all down to personal preferences and needs. We have a number of different materials available such as rattan, wood and aluminium. All of these choices are extremely durable and can stay outside all year so it just depends on which look you prefer. There are also a variety of different tabletops like ceramic, glass and teak - again all of our table tops are hard-wearing they just offer different looks. For example, ceramic tops can be viewed as more modern than their glass counterpart.

• How do I choose the right size patio dining furniture?

  The answer to this depends on a couple of things - the first being available space and the second how many seats you want. Always measure your space before looking at dining furniture as this will help rule out larger sets that will cramp your space. We have various table shapes available from round or oval to square or rectangular. Smaller dining sets, ideal for 2 - 4 people, are typically round or square. Whereas larger sets for 6 - 8 people often feature an oval or rectangular dining table. So think about how you want your garden to look and feel and consider how many chairs you would like. This will help you choose the right size dining furniture for your garden.

• What makes a good outdoor table?

  A good outdoor dining table needs to be long-lasting, impervious to the elements and stylish. You should look for a low maintenance table that can stay outside all year. Certain materials are stronger than others for example aluminium doesn't rust. Our table tops are made from ceramic, glass and teak. These materials have been chosen due to their longevity and strength against the elements.

• How can you tell if outdoor dining furniture is high quality?

  Always look at the workmanship to determine to quality of your furniture. Our manufacturers pride themselves on quality and this is reflected in the furniture. Many of our rattan sets are hand woven to ensure a high quality finish. Look for weather resistant properties such as frost resistance, water resistance and UV protection. Check the frame material, if the frame is aluminium it won't rust whereas a steel frame will.
