When considering a garden dining set with an ice bucket table, there are a few factors to keep in mind. First, consider the size of your outdoor space and the number of people you plan to accommodate. Think about what you want to use your garden furniture for. 

It’s always best to avoid overcrowding your space with a set that is too big. Before you purchase your set we would recommend that you measure your space and get a rough idea of the footprint you have available.

Maintenance is another aspect to consider as you want to enjoy your set without worrying about upkeep. Look for sets that are easy to clean and require minimal upkeep, such as those made from durable materials like rattan.

Cleaning your furniture set

As all of our ice bucket sets are made from rattan and are woven on a rust-free aluminium frame they are low maintenance. Cleaning your garden furniture should require minimal effort. 

First, you should remove any dirt and debris from your dining set - to do this use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. This will help dislodge any dust in those tricky-to-reach areas.

Then you can clean your set by using warm soapy water and a clean sponge. Avoid using harmful chemicals or an abrasive brush as this could damage your furniture. Thoroughly rinse your set with clean water, you could use a hose or a bucket. Then just allow your patio furniture to dry in the sun.

We would always advise against putting your outdoor cushions in the washing machine, this could damage the shower-proof coating. If you need to clean your cushions you can spot clean them using warm soapy water.

PE rattan is a synthetic material which is incredibly durable and designed to withstand unpredictable weather conditions. PE wicker has the attractive aesthetic qualities of natural rattan but requires far less maintenance. If natural rattan was used in garden furniture it would quickly deteriorate.
