Firepit tables are a fantastic addition to any outdoor space, providing warmth, ambience, and a cosy gathering spot for family and friends. Bramblecrest firepit tables are known for their quality and design, making them a popular choice for our customers.

If you're new to using a Bramblecrest firepit table, lighting it for the first time can be a bit daunting. Here's a simple, guide to help you get started.

Before you begin

Before you light your firepit, ensure you have taken all necessary safety precautions. Ensure you place your firepit table on a stable and flat surface. Check that nothing is hanging over the firepit that could catch fire - such as branches. Make sure that you are using your firepit table outdoors. I know that might seem stupid to say but a lot of people like to use garden furniture indoors, especially in summer houses.

Be wary of high winds when using the table as this can be quite dangerous with an open flame. If you would still like to use the firepit table in windy conditions then we would advise you to lower the adjustable control accordingly.

Prep the table

Once you have your firepit table in place, make sure that you remove the ceramic panel to reveal the firepit. Then place the safety glass surround around the firepit. Finally, you will need to place your lava stones into the firepit - we recommend not using the full bag as you will not be able to place the ceramic tile over the stones.

Insert the battery

Before you can light the firepit you will need to insert the battery, you will need a AA battery. Find the firepit controls, on the right hand side you will find the ignitor button. Unscrew the cap and insert your AA battery, then screw the cap back on tightly.

One thing to note is that most Bramblecrest Firepit Tables take a AA battery however if the ignition button is black you will need to use a AAA battery.

Step-by-step guide

1.  Locate the gas bottle storage drawer and pull it open

2.  Place your propane 5kg patio gas bottle in the drawer and connect the red nozzle to the gas bottle

3.  On one side of the table you will see a control panel - on the right hand side you have the ignitor switch and on the left, you have the temperature control

4.  To light the table you will need to press the ignitor switch and when you do this you will hear a clicking sound

5.  Whilst pressing the ignition switch you need to push the temperature control dial in and turn it clockwise

6.  Make sure to do points 4 & 5 at the same time and you will see the table ignite

Replacing the battery

To change the battery you do everything you did to insert the battery just with one tweak. First unscrew the ignition switch cap and remove the old AA battery. Then insert your new battery and make sure to tightly screw the cap back on - it’s as simple as that.

Check Gas Levels: Keep an eye on your propane tank or gas supply to ensure you don’t run out unexpectedly.

Cover When Not in Use: Use a weather-resistant cover to protect your firepit from the elements when it’s not in use.
