Effortless Functionality

Bramblecrest cantilever parasols are designed with ease of use in mind, they’re designed to make your life easier. These parasols can be effortlessly moved to provide plenty of shade from harmful UV rays.

The majority of Bramblecrest cantilever parasols can be tilted and rotated, the only exception to this is the Gloucester parasol. If you're looking for a parasol that tilts and rotates, one tip is to look out for a parasol with a granite triangle base.

To rotate the parasol locate the pedal at the bottom of the parasol pole - just above the base. Use one foot to stand on the pedal and you will be able to rotate the parasol 360 degrees.

When you need to tilt the canopy you will need to find the handle, this handle is found near the edge of the canopy and parasol pole. Push the handle outwards and you will then be able to tilt the canopy left and right.

The Gloucester range may not tilt left and right but it can tilt up and down, just like the other cantilever parasol ranges. Tilting the parasol up and down is easy, just find the handle you used to open the parasol. Squeeze the mechanism and push the parasol up and down as needed.

Strong Parasol Bases

Bramblecrest parasol bases are designed to be stable and robust enough to withstand the elements. Our Bramblecrest side post parasols come with two different types of bases, we will explain the different types below.

The Gloucester parasol has a plastic base which is delivered empty. This base needs to be filled with sand or water to be stable. At the back of the base you will find two handy wheels, enabling you to move the parasol around if needed.

The most common base for Bramblecrest overhanging parasols is the granite triangle base. This base is comprised of four granite triangles each weighing 25kg and a steel cross frame to hold the triangles. This 100kg granite base is ideal for cantilever parasols as they need this heavy a base to support the weight of the parasol.

If needed you can purchase a wheeled frame for the granite triangles as wheels are not included as standard, if you would like this option please speak to a member of our team.

Parasols with LED Lights

Some Bramblecrest parasol models incorporate innovative features such as integrated LED lighting, making them suitable for use even after sunset. If you’re looking for a parasol with LED lights look out for the Truro range. 

The lights are easily operated and powered by a battery pack. To charge the pack just remove it from its holder on the parasol and use the USB cable provided. The cable should fit into any standard phone charger. Once charged simply reattach the battery pack.

To use the lights you will need to make sure the battery pack is securely attached to the holder. There should be two buttons on the pack, one will show how much charge the pack has and the other is to operate the lights. Simply press the button and you will be able to turn the LED lights on and off.

Some newer models have different light settings as opposed to just on and off. You will find that you can turn the lights on for the spokes only, centre only or spokes and centre together.
