About Our Conservatory Suites
Our range of conservatory suites are designed to the highest standards by luxury conservatory furniture manufacturers Desser and Cane Industries. Conservatory furniture is designed to be a comfortable place to sit back and relax. Cane Industries have over 40 years of experience in the cane furniture industry, they pride themselves on the quality of their furniture and the materials they use. Cane Industries are a member of the British Furniture Manufacturers trade association, the BFM represent British-made furniture and has done so for over 60 years. Only those who create high-quality furniture are invited to become members. Desser is a 4th generation family business that began in 1919 and they are known for their luxury rattan furniture. Their cushions are hand-sewn in the UK and are guaranteed to be comfortable and high-quality. Desser likes to keep an eye on current trends and aims to bring cane furniture and cane accessories into a modern home. Conservatory suites are made from a natural plant called cane, cane is a creeper plant that grows around other plants and vegetation. Cane is found in South East Asia and grows in a jungle environment. Once the plant is ready to be harvested, the plant is cut into 13-foot-long pieces. The cane plant is laid out in the sun and left to dry out. The cane pieces must be kept perfectly straight, if they bend they are no longer suitable for weaving. Our collection of conservatory suites are hand woven to create a range of designs from more traditional to modern conservatory suites. This technique of hand-weaving furniture has been around for more than 5,000 years. Caring for cane furniture is a breeze and doesn't demand extensive upkeep. To clean the furniture frame, you can use a cloth, a gentle brush, or a vacuum to eliminate dust. Make sure that the vacuum is on a low setting. When it comes to cleaning the crevices, Desser suggests using a toothbrush to remove tricky-to-reach dirt. Cleaning with excessive water can damage the frame, so make sure to always wring out your cloth and pat dry the furniture. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause the fabric to fade, so remember to regularly flip your cushions. If one cushion sees more use than the others, consider swapping them. Additionally, blinds offer effective cushion protection by keeping your furniture shaded when not in use.High Quality Rattan Furniture
