Strong, durable teak

The durability and good looks of teak make it a popular material for garden furniture. Its initial golden-brown hue changes over time to an elegant silver-grey. Teak is hardwood with a close grain, so it’s very strong with a sturdy weight. This makes it ideal for furniture that stays outside from season to season. The nature of the grain helps the timber endure temperature variations without significant warping or cracking. The oils present in teak make it resistant to water, pests, mildew, fungal growth and mould.

2. 2024 colours for garden furniture
