How to Make Your Garden Warmer

In Britain, it’s very rare that we have amazing weather for a long, sustained period of time. That's why it’s vital that your garden is cosy and inviting all year round regardless of the weather. Making your garden feel cosy can be achieved in a number of ways. In this blog, we will look at how you can make your garden warmer by using firepits and heaters.

Firepits

Firepits are a great way to make your garden feel even more inviting. They provide a great social space that is perfect for entertaining or casual dining! The above image shows the Bramblecrest Monterey Rectangular Firepit Table. This firepit comes with a ceramic insert so during the Summer, when you want to dine, you can cover the firepit. However, once the cold weather begins or even just to create an ambience on an evening you can remove the insert and use your firepit! If you have a firepit set in your garden you are sure to want to use it all year round, just add some blankets and get cosy around the fire.

Cosiscoop

Cosiscoops come in a number of different colours and sizes. Some of the cosiscoops are even portable, perfect for easily moving around the garden or even on your next camping trip! The Pacific Lifestyle Cosi collection is the perfect way to bring a warming glow to your garden. The Cosibrixx is a larger firepit and is perfect for keeping the chill at bay. Cosi fires will make you feel warm and snug in your garden long into the night. If you want to make a statement in your garden why not try the Cosiscoop Pillar in teak? This striking floor lantern is great for surrounding your garden furniture or even making a pathway. As the Cosiscoop Pillar stands at over 1m tall it is sure to create a dramatic light source.

Garden Heating

We stock a number of great garden heaters from brands such as La Hacienda. Garden heaters are designed to keep you feeling cosy even when it’s a little chilly out. Over the last couple of years, we have found ourselves spending more and more time in our gardens even in the cold months. Firebowls are one way of doing this. For example, the Albion Firebowl has a simple yet elegant design. This sort of firepit really gives you more freedom as you can add more wood when necessary to make your garden even warmer, just simply remove the protective lid. Alternatively, why not opt for a standing heater as these can be placed above your garden furniture and provide lovely heat to you and your guests.

Chimeneas

Chimeneas are a classic source of warmth in outdoor areas. The Murcia Chimenea even comes with a chrome-plated cooking grill so you can treat yourself and your guests to some tasty treats all year round. They provide a great source of heat and can be moved around the garden if necessary. Perfect for gathering around with friends and family and relaxing under the stars. Chimeneas really are a great accessory for your garden! They’re all about function and keeping you warm whilst still retaining their classic look.

Garden heating is absolutely essential as it makes your garden feel even more inviting. It is sure to make you want to use your garden all the time, even during Winter! As you can see we have a variety of garden heating styles for you to choose from.
